I am passionate about the importance of good care and feeling comfortable with the people you surround yourself with.
First becoming a mother in 2005, I am very interested in the issues and opportunities surrounding parenthood and birth and how these are affected and enhanced through culture, care and continuity.
I have completed several doula training and birth education courses and am passionate about continuing to learn and grow.
Every person and family is unique beyond measure and that is something that I aim to honour and respect.
My other passions include all kinds of creativity, gardening and adventuring.
There is something magical and transformative about having the right kind of care and attention during liminal periods of our lives.
When we are open experiences soak into our bodies and minds. Traversing the choices and experiences that make up the journey to becoming a parent can be joyful and challenging in turn. There is a lot of evidence to suggest that having personalised, sensitive support at key times can have an impact that lasts a lifetime or even generations. I am passionate about providing accessible care that nudges into families into the wellbeing and personal autonomy that is their birthright.
